A full house saw John Conolloy do a wonderful 30 minute floorspot. I am still amazed that half the audience hadn 't seen John before. They do now and I had so many excellent comments about him.
I hope everybody enjoyed the meal served by speedy Dave and his team.
Then 2 sets of Flossie Malavialle, again only half the audience had seen her before. She was very impressive and was on top form. Once again I had so many excellent comments afterwards about her.
Many thanks to them for giving us such a smashing night.

Great audience (full house),so many thanks for all coming along and keeping Village Halls alive.

Les Worrall

Great to see them both again and on the same bill. They were both in fine form and we had a night of great humour and excellent performances. The food was great too but personally would have liked a 'green' veg as well as the carrots (I did say that was a personal choice) as I am a veg eater (as opposed to vegetarian). That is not really a criticism, just a personal observation. The whole evening was excellent and pretty good value.

Oops just woke up and realised I spelt John's name incorrectly. It should of course be Conolly. Will he forgive me :-)

Sorry I couldn't make it Les, I was busy being thrown about at a Rock Concert in Birmingham, I have war wounds to prove it, I would have been there otherwise, I love Flossie! Sounds like it was good, glad to hear you're still flying the flag up there!

Hi muppitz
So you've been a naughty girl down my neck of the woods eh. I am down in Brum after Xmas. Do I need to come and bail you out :-)
It was sold out which is always good.
Hows your club doing these days?

No worries Les, I escaped with only a few minor bumps and bruises mainly received from the elbows of people taller than me!
The club is fine, we had a bit of a slump in audience numbers until this last month which sort of picked us up again, nice to finish 2007 on a high note!
