Does anyone have the words for a song with the chorus "Mary Ann she's after me / full of love she seems to be / My mother says that its plain to see / she wants me for her young man ......"
Mukram Wakes used to sing it. I don't know if they recorded it. I beleive that it is a music hall song.

Aye! Crackin' song! The' recorded it on the (fabulously titled) album, "WARBLES, JANGLES & REEDS"

Guess which clever sod has an almost MINT copy?

Also on there wez their version of 'Coming In On A Wing & A Prayer' as well as some other superbly crafted songs

Roger Watson's VERY busy doon this neck o' the woods running TAPS (Trad Arts Projects) - He was inspirational in putting together Show Of Hands,Tim Laycock (Aah think!) and 3 Chilean Musicians to form "Alianza"

He's put loads of differi8n'[ musi8cians together te see what works and aah believe 'The One World BAnd' is his babby.
