Huw Chidgey will be appearing at the Valley Folk Club in Pontardawe ,South Wales on friday the 18th January. The venue is the Ivy Bush on Brecon Road close to the centre of town and all are welcome.
Cwmamman born Huw is a fine talent both as a guitarist but also as a great singer of both traditional and contempoary folk songs.
After years living in Scotland he is now back in his native South Wales. He often sings with flautist Catherine Handley but on this occasion will be performing solo.Starts 8.30

Huw Chidgey and Catherine Handley performed at the Valley Folk Club in Pontardawe last night .What a great evening of music and song.Catherine is a super flautist and played a very sympatheic and understated piano and she also played the tin whistle on a number of tune.
Huw ,from fabled Aberdare is an excellent guitarist but also a richly talented singer of both traditional and modern songs .
Highly reccomended!
I hope they come back again and soon!

They were in the Crumlin Folk Club in South Wales on Thursday Night
They are both brilliant. I have seen them many times now and they just get better and better.
