Fredrick Ferrari sang each week on The Charlie Chester Show, circa 1948, he had a fine Tenor voice, Charlie Chester introduced him during each weekly show as "The voice, the voice of Fredrick Ferrari".
I have combed the PC but cannot come across any recordings of Ferrari, can anyone tell me what company he recored for, if any.

He certainly recorded for Parlophone - check this page:

78 Discography for Parlophone Records - UK - R3000 series.

Orchestra leader Frank Chacksfield accompanied him sometimes on 78s from 1948 (not with his orchestra I think!), so you might find something through him (I didn't on a quick look).

Here's a list of some recording: Popmusic-info - Frederick Ferrari

And there's a little discussion on this board: Whirligig - Obscure Singers of the 50s

I came across one 78 of his for sale, but I didn't see anything current.

Mick

I came across your site and it is so nice to see folks remembering Frederick Farrari. I loved his voice and his rendition of "When Love Descended Like An Angel". When I was a young girl in the 50s I wrote to him he replied to me with a photo of himself , which I treasured for many years, sadly moves have lost this connection with him. I would love to know more about him have you any info please.

Frederick Ferrari was my uncle,
His last address was in Surrey,
Where he died in April 1994.
The only time I saw him sing was at the
Empire Theatre Liverpool,
I was about 10yrs. old.
A and always listened to The Charlie Chester Show.

Hello,
I don't know if anyone is looking at this!
I have just looked through some of my granddads 78 records. I have Love descended like a dove / My love is only for you
Parlophone R3113.
If anyone is interested in this, let me know.
Peter
