From: GUEST,Nigel Spencer (cookieless) Date: 21 Jan 08 - 08:50 AM If you're ok with contemporary(ish) songs in a folk style, you could do worse than Steve Ashley's superb 'Candlemas Carol' from the Stroll On album. Can't remember if there is anything for that time of year on Sharron Kraus's 'Right Wantonly a Mumming', but as it is an album of seasonal songs it may be worth a listen. In fact, you should take a listen anyway, if you haven't already, if only because it's such a damned fine album. Nigel |
