Subject: Folklore: Steve Roud's 'The English Year' From: Folkiedave Date: 26 Jan 08 - 12:45 PM This book, by Steve Roud, who of course is best known for the Round Idex is a superb guide to customs and traditions is this week's paperback choice in the "Guardian" review section. (p. 18) A great book which will give hours of pleasure. |
