Subject: TRADITIONS FESTIVAL 2008
From: GUEST,Foolish Friends
Date: 01 Feb 08 - 08:25 AM

HOT NEWS.    Remember those of you who all loved the Four Fools Folk Festival. Well just have a look at www.madontrad.org

The Traditions Festival is carrying it on.

Guaranteed is the second to none guestlist that always shows a love of the tradition.
Guaranteed is the wonderful venue with everything under one roof and the campsite at the backdoor.
Guaranteed is the unique 'magic' that made Four Fools the 'best singers Festival'. We're still the 'Little Festival with the BIG Heart'

The reasons being that the same 'guiding hands' are at the helm. This time with added help.

The addition this year is that there will be craft workshops available during the weekend to offer even more choice.

All we can say is get yourselves here over the weekend of the 27 - 29 June 2008. Its the first Traditions Festival, but you know just how good its going to be. Make it a sellout this year. Send off for your tickets NOW.

Tell everyone!!

FOOLISH FRIENDS NEED YOU!!!

The Traditional Festival

Tell them to get themselves a Myspace page as well, then circuulate it amongst all the Morris Dance Teams pages and Folk Musicians too. A very supportive place is Myspace.

Cuddles x

As I've just discovered, the URL for this festival website in the first post here is incorrect. It should be: www.madontrad.org.uk

As the festival site is just 400 yards from my childhood home (they built the school on top of my favourite fishing hole), I will certainly be there.

The Mudcat singaround at Alcester was superb.

No reason why we cant meet at one of the singarounds if nothing specific can be sorted.

Counting the days ..... really looking forward to this superb little festival. The line up may not make headlines but contains some of the best singers in the country.

AND THEY DON'T CHARGE RIDICULOUSLY OVERINFLATED PRICES EITHER.

Can't argue with any of the above,,,,, A great singers fest.Secure location and full support from the school. I'll be there and if the mudcatters want to sing i'm pretty sure there'll be no problem, especially late night!

That sounds dead good. Shame i'm so poor! Playing folk music means you don't see much folk music!
