3 or 4 parts (SATB), ideally. I may be able to call into the Irish Traditional Music Archive in Dublin souon - they may have one. Peadar is more likely to stick to unison for this one?

Hi Martin, I realise this is a very old post but just wondering would you have any advice on a choral arrangement for "Mo Ghile Mear'. I've been searching for weeks for one and can't seem to get one. I've an all boys choir (secondary school) so generally they sing in three or four parts.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd like them to perform it for a school concert.

I'm looking for a TTBB folk choral arrangement for Mo Ghile Mear (Our Gallant Hero). There is a great SSATTBB version commercially available fom JW Pepper performed by UCD, but no TTBB (or some other variation for men's voices). The Chieftans and Sting have an arrangement that would work, but unfortunately the only arrangement of that I could find is just melody with piano and tabs.

Irish arranger and conductor Desmond Earley has a terrific arrangement of this which includes a bodhran. There are several videos on Youtube
