I'll be there. ;o) Of course, I was invited to sit in with Bob using my razor sharp hand tool of doom (my musical saw) on one of his old folk songs. He also very graciously asked if I would enjoy playing a couple of my songs while I was there. I'm really looking forward to it. The last show that I played in the area was east of Bellingham in the tiny burg of Deming for the Mount Baker Blues Fest. That's been a couple years ago.

Having recently set down my hammer (retired) and picked up my guitar, I am REALLY looking forward to this concert. Bellingham has more superb musicians per square foot than any other place I know ... except perhaps my local cemetary! And if you'll google "The Roeder House" you'll see what am historic place it is. And if you bring up the website about Whatcom County Homemade Music, you'll see what illustrious company I'll be in.

I'm looking forward to connecting again with many of the Bellingham musicians again. Bob

I'm am always very happy to see someone retiring from "real" work and turning their energies to performing.

Gives me hope, since I'm looking forward to doing the same myself, if I can every afford to quit this nasty old day job.

Too far away for me to attend, so I too am hoping for some video.

Knock 'em dead, Deckman!

Bob, I misread the thread title - Thought it said you were playing in Bethlehem. I opened it to see if that was Bethlehem, PA, or Bethlehem, Palestine!

Wouldn't it be great if this "return to the coffee houses of the 1950's" led to the rebirth of coffee houses in the 2000's? hope you do indeed enjoy it as much as I'm sure your audience will.

janie

Janie ... you might be surprised to learn that we're trying to do just that ... at least in Seattle! Bob
