I'm in Bristol that weekend, otherwise I'd be along like a shot.

Good luck with this, and might see you for John Kirkpatrick.

Cool! Will you have any floorspots? It's walking distance for me. What with the Easycome Acoustic night at the Old Nun's Head and the monthly Folk At The Moon (herne hill half moon) there's now suddenly a whole lot of good music [almost] within walking distance.

Yes there will be floorspots - see our website www.thegooseisout.com for more information (will be invited singers only on our opening night, but a few on spec after that).

Kevin's been dying to get that gander line in for days, rofl :)

Erm, why is it a pity it's not in Dulwich Village??

Is there something we should know??

East Dulwich is a short walk from the Village, anyway ! And somewhat edgier, we think. But then we would, we live there.

Tickets for this gig are selling fast, and we have already had to top up the online allocation.

If you want to be sure of being there at the Goose's famous opening night, hurrah, you can buy tickets via our website at www.thegooseisout.com or direct from the venue (upstairs @ edt, the East Dulwich Tavern) at 020 8693 1316.

Hope to see lots of Muddies/Mudcatters/folkies there, dahn Sarf Lahndon innit.

Love The Goose XX

That's the first pub I ever sang in and that was back in 1968?

The years go by....................................

Blimey, bet the edt didn't have sofas and candles in 1968 !!

Spit and sawdust, I expect !!

Ah, what a great excuse to shamelessly bump this thread :)

PS Are you any relation to Eggy the Viking, who is one of the Goose's more obscure MySpace friends?
