The first two releases on the new Chudleighroots label are now available online. They are the self titled Tom Palmer album and the new Jackie Oates album, The Violet Hour.
The online shop went live today. Release to retail will be through Proper Distribution at the end of this month.
The next projects in the pipeline will be the live 'Downes and Beer' reunion album and an archive album of performances by the late Tony Rose which is currently being assembled.
There is an album of west country songs from Devon singer Dave Lowrey also work in progress together with an E.P. by Isambarde fiddle player Em Sanders.
The Phil Beer box set will be out in September this year and work will start on a new Isambarde album in Jan 2009.

Aside from these releases, there is a busy schedule at Riverside studio which includes work for Jim Causley, Matt norman, Mick Groves and production work for Jenna Witts.

Can't wait for the album from Dave Lowry - great singer with no affectation, and wonderful songs! I'll be keeping an eye out for it!

I'm looking forward to getting Dave Lowrey's album too. And the other releases, also.

Only a few days until Jackie Oates' "The Lilac Hour" official release now, keen anticipation. Poltimore House, a wonderfully aged stately home near Exeter, (which featured on the "Restoration" architectural series on BBC1 a few years ago) is the location for the rather atmospheric album photography

Vivat Chudleigh Roots!
