Hi mudcatters


An invite to anyone in the areas of Pittsburgh, Princeton, Philadelphia and Harrisburg/York PA.

Round the House, playing mostly Irish traditional material in concert and contra dances with more diverse styles, is planning an expedition to the east coast of the US from our Arizona home in June 2008.

We're visiting these areas between June 13 and June 22. Main events scheduled include the Pittsburgh, Princeton and Glenside (Philadelphia) contra dances, a house concert in Pittsburgh, a festival near York (Penn-Mar Irish fest) and a pub in West Chester PA (Four Dogs). We're still looking for venues for Sat June 14 in Pittsburgh and Friday June 20 somewhere in striking distance of the Penn-Mar Irish festival - (Philadelphia, Harrisburg, possibly Maryland.

We'd love to meet some other Mudcatters and maybe play some tunes together. Any suggestions for the last couple open slots would be great.

Round the House is playing for the Pittsburgh contra dance, Friday, June 13, house concert Sunday June 15,   and working on finding something else in the area on June 14. Contact for the house concert is Annie Trimble and her contact info is on the RTH website and calendar.
