Can't you tell it's spring! I culled the wardrobe this morning and this evening it was the turn of the CD rack! I have discarded the usual 60s complilations, Celtic chillouts and 'What the F* did I buy that for' albums into a bag for the charity shop. The following are folky or at least folkish in some way known only to the inner workings of my brain. Anyone want them before they go to the charity shop? I will post them or, in the Manchester, UK, area, deliver them.

Pete Rimmer - Fill my pockets with rain.
Tripych - The Kings Wyvern
Jones and Leva - Journey Home
JP Slidewell - From light to darkness
Various (inc Herbie Hancock, Ginger Baker, Kanda Bongo Man) - Afrika
Various (inc Neil Young, Pearl Jam, Peter Gabriel) - No Boundries
Eric Clapton and Friends - Live
Various Taize Chants - Christ the Saviour
Jose Feliciano - The Gold Collection (2 CDs)

I would prefer them to go all in one go but I will split them. First come, first served.

Cheers

Dave

I'd love to take them all, including the nonfolkies, if you'd post them to the US or give them to the next US-bound Catter to bring over and post here. I use them in my aquatic workouts and share them with other aquatic folks for theirs. We go through an awful lot of tunes because we use them according to their tempo to pace the workouts. But I cannot afford to reimburse for from-UK postage.

Dave, what a generous offer. How unfortunate that an unkind and inaccurate comment strayed in. How fortunate that the rest of us know better.

Thanks for offering your cds, Dave.

if you mean me, I've actually used the Folk Your Way to Fitness recording for one of my exercise regimes, so I speak from experience. I f the CD isn't appropriate for AquaRunning, then so be it.

PMs sent to Susan and Giok.

Bad vibes to anyone wanting to start an argument on my thread

I don't see any arguments, and if I was teaching water aerobics instead of AquaRunning, I'd snap that CD up in a heartbeat. I'll recommend it to someone I know who IS teaching water aerobics. She could use it as a day-off assistant teacher! :~)

Some of the CDs may turn up here again, you never know. I have a collection out in the wayback that may stumble in here, too.

What's wrong with humour in a thread? And in what way was Charlotte being "unkind and inaccurate"? (Not trying to start an argument, I'd just like to understand.)

Susanne, it's entirely possible that an unkind Guest word was made, and promptly deleted.

An arrangement that will end up benefiting Mudcat is in the works. But just as heads-up, others have offered used music as a thread giveaway as well.
