Subject: RE: Brian Peters @ the Welly From: Brian Peters Date: 19 Apr 08 - 10:17 AM My first ever floor spot was at the Wilsons' old club at the Collingwood, so playing their club again is like coming home. Looking forward to it. |

Subject: RE: Brian Peters @ the Welly From: MoorleyMan Date: 22 Apr 08 - 06:45 AM Anyone within shouting distance of the club (and with the mighty Wilsons in full voice that means a very long distance indeed!) shouldn't miss this gig. Brian is simply one of the most genuinely entertaining "good guys" on the circuit, with a massive and varied repertoire and the chops to put it across. Go see! |

Subject: RE: Brian Peters @ the Welly From: Brian Peters Date: 24 Apr 08 - 06:01 AM I gave myself a very nasty back injury on Tuesday manoeuvering heavy flagstones, so I'm afraid tonight's show will not include the usual tap-dancing, crocodile-wrestling and unicycling whilst playing melodeon. I can, however, still sing and play, albeit from a seated position (standing up is not so clever at the moment), so of course the show will go on! |
Subject: RE: Brian Peters @ the Welly From: Big Al Whittle Date: 24 Apr 08 - 06:12 AM Sorry to hear about that. take care mate. be alert! we need a few more lerts in the folk music world. |
Subject: RE: Brian Peters @ the Welly From: nutty Date: 24 Apr 08 - 06:20 AM It's always a shock to realise that you are not as young as you used to be(grin) Keep it well lubricated and have a great night. |
Subject: RE: Brian Peters @ the Welly From: Brian Peters Date: 24 Apr 08 - 06:25 AM Thanks for the good wishes, but I should point out that I am, if anything, younger than I used to be. They were just very heavy flags. |
Subject: RE: Brian Peters @ the Welly From: GUEST,Helen Date: 24 Apr 08 - 11:02 AM I promise we'll be gentle with you! And you don't look a day over 21 to me! |
