If you don't know, they feature American oldtime mountain music with duets from the golden age of country music and tunes to get the toes tapping. With fiddle, guitars, banjo and mandolin plus wonderful vocal harmonies.

I've heard rumours they could well be popping in to the Foaotmad spring camp for a few tunes after their last gig. They came a couple of years ago and had a great time.
If you haven't heard them and they're anywhere near you, it's definitely worth busting a gut to go. They're one of the best acts anywhere....

It won't be after the last gig Ray, if it happens it'll be between Berwick and Fishguard. Those bank holiday dates keep confusing me too.
Nick

Brid is just a bit too far for a drive there and back for us. Shame.
Quack!
Geoff.

Each of the last two times I took in Carl Jones and Beverly Smith it involved a 350 (700 round trip) drive to the Palestine Old Time Music festival. To be sure, there were other headliners, but Carl and Beverly are surely worth a trek.

Blast - it looks as if I won't be able to get to any of their gigs on this tour, so I won't see them unless they come to the Sacrewell camp. However I'll probably get to meet them again at the Clifftop festival.

Bridlington's about two hours each way - though it once took me 7!
