Subject: RE: Beverly Smith & Carl Jones, UK tour From: BanjoRay Date: 24 Apr 08 - 02:21 PM I've heard rumours they could well be popping in to the Foaotmad spring camp for a few tunes after their last gig. They came a couple of years ago and had a great time. If you haven't heard them and they're anywhere near you, it's definitely worth busting a gut to go. They're one of the best acts anywhere.... Subject: RE: Beverly Smith & Carl Jones, UK tour From: nickp Date: 24 Apr 08 - 02:25 PM It won't be after the last gig Ray, if it happens it'll be between Berwick and Fishguard. Those bank holiday dates keep confusing me too. Nick |

Subject: RE: Beverly Smith & Carl Jones, UK tour From: kbraun Date: 28 Apr 08 - 11:32 AM Each of the last two times I took in Carl Jones and Beverly Smith it involved a 350 (700 round trip) drive to the Palestine Old Time Music festival. To be sure, there were other headliners, but Carl and Beverly are surely worth a trek. |

Subject: RE: Beverly Smith & Carl Jones, UK tour From: BanjoRay Date: 10 May 08 - 12:02 PM Blast - it looks as if I won't be able to get to any of their gigs on this tour, so I won't see them unless they come to the Sacrewell camp. However I'll probably get to meet them again at the Clifftop festival. Ray |
