The death has just been announced of the great artist Beryl Cook. Beryl was a great lady who painted comical paintings of fat people.

A fantastic talent, what a lot of joy she brought to her paintings. For some reason, the powers-that-be didn't consider what she did as any kind of art.I dont think the fancy national gallery type places bought her paintings. Well, more fool them. She was great.
