Subject: Folk mags for sale - Last Chance! From: SouthportFrank Date: 30 May 08 - 09:23 AM I've been very disappointed with the interest in these mags. I was going to advertise some more, but, if the response to the current listings doesn't improve, I won't bother. The magazines cover the whole range of Anglo-Celtic/USA folk from Pete Seeger to the Copper Family, from Altan to Phil Ochs. Lnk to all mags on Ebay UK |

Subject: RE: Folk mags for sale - Last Chance! From: GUEST,Arkie Date: 30 May 08 - 10:57 AM A very interesting lot and should be an asset to some library or collection. However, I am at the point of what I will do with the magazines and songbooks I presently have. |

Subject: RE: Folk mags for sale - Last Chance! From: Joe Offer Date: 31 May 08 - 03:47 PM Hi, Frank - I guess I'd say that individual folk magazines aren't of much value to people. I'm trying to assemble a complete collection of Sing Out!, but I'm hoping to pay less than a dollar a copy for the issues I'm missing (and I've bought a number for 25 cents a copy and ended up with some duplicates). I think most people are in the same boat. Good luck to you. -Joe- |

Subject: RE: Folk mags for sale - Last Chance! From: Steve Gardham Date: 31 May 08 - 05:38 PM Frank, Any chance of giving a little more detail on what you're offering? I'd be interested in purchasing any EDS copies I haven't got and also some of MacColl's 'New City Songsters' I haven't got. You mention song books, what are they? |
