No Smithsonian Folkways recording found, but something may be on a 'various artists' pressing. Some are on: Southern Journey, vol. 6 - Tribulations Southern Journey, vol. 1 - Pretty Polly Sounds of the South- Jennie Jenkins (and Farmer's Curst Wife, noted by Masato) High Atmosphere- Pretty Polly, Warfare, The Fox Southern Journey, vol. 5- Pretty Polly Southern Journey, vol. 2- Poor Ellen Smith The Southern Journey cds are available from Rounder. Check with Camsco. |
