Some later recordings ("The Farmer's Curst Wife," "Jennie Jenkins," etc.) are on Various Artists - Sounds of the South (Atlantic).

I tried the Library of Congress catalog but no luck. I may not have searched correctly. No Smithsonian Folkways recording found, but something may be on a 'various artists' pressing.

Some are on:
Southern Journey, vol. 6 - Tribulations
Southern Journey, vol. 1 - Pretty Polly
Sounds of the South- Jennie Jenkins (and Farmer's Curst Wife, noted by Masato)
High Atmosphere- Pretty Polly, Warfare, The Fox
Southern Journey, vol. 5- Pretty Polly
Southern Journey, vol. 2- Poor Ellen Smith

The Southern Journey cds are available from Rounder. Check with Camsco.

So far, eight songs found on cd. Is there a complete list of songs recorded by Ball?

Copper Creek has "Through the Years" recorded 1937-1975. As I recall, there's some interview material there by Lomax. Available at CAMSCO, of course.
