Hi all-

Just in case anyone's interested, or happens to be in the area & at a loose end, I'll be gigging Redditch Folk Club (West Mids) on Saturday 9th. I'll be singing traditional as well as my own contemporary folk songs, and proceedings will kick off with floor spots, etc., at about 8:30pm.

Nothing at all dubious about you or your art, Gene. The beauty of it is that you are still young (I think of anyone under the age of 45 as a kid) and time is on your side. I wish you a successful evening, buddy.

Broken strings, nightmare acoustics, brainfreeze on easy phrases and trip on your way onto the stage. All this and a rugby team in the back of the room who all want to sing THEIR songs. May you overcome all these obstacles and bring the rowdies to silence on the strength of your music. There's no doubt.
