Frightening, innit?!

I'll be 60 on Friday August 15th, and these are the 'Birthday Tour' dates (UK):

Saturday August 9th: Folk in the Barn, Rixton, Warrington.

Sunday August 10th: Guest appearance at the Open Door Folk Club, Royal Oak, Werneth, Oldham.

Monday August 11th: Oldham Community Radio 'Sounds of Folk' with Alio. Okay, that's every week... but humour me!

Tuesday August 12th: Earl of Stamford Morris at the Ring o'Bells Daresbury.

Wednesday August 13th: Songs in the Snug at the Saracen's Head, Warburton.

Thursday August 14th: Guest appearance at Lymm Folk Club, Spread Eagle, Lymm, Cheshire.

See you there?

Have a good one Bernard but look out for the groupies on the tour bus and the white stuff in the toilets. Ajax can play havoc with your vocal chords and and give you a nasty rash if used inappropriately!

Cheers

It seems that only a couple years ago a friend told me she went to a humorous concert. The singer had sung 'I can't believe I'm forty and still playing the guitar.' It seemed so funny at the time.

Now I'm sixty and still playing the guitar. You too?

Amongst other things!! See here!

;o)

I used to think 60 was old, but now I'm not so sure!! As a bloke told his 80 year-old father... 'I wouldn't like to be eighty!'

His dad replied...'Just you wait until you're seventy nine - you'll change your tune!'... hah!

Thanks, by the way, for everyone's kind regards! Hope you're all still around for 65, 70 etc...!

Sorry... 'by the way' sounds like an afterthought... it isn't, really... this approaching 60 business is keeping me rather busy!!
