Have a listen to the following band Better Late than Naked ,who are on Radio Lincolnshire's Tom Lane's Folk Program tonight, just after 6:30.

They are a newly formed band and consist of John Blanks, Mark Addison & Phil Biggs

I don't know who I am listening to at the moment but it's fun...kind of a country-western Irish...something about Tipperary and going back to stay. Anyway, thanks for the link!

Its not a bad program at all at all. On for 2 hours

Listening, right now, have been since I first posted. Took me a while to figure out the website and find what I was listening to, after working out the seven hour time difference.:-)

'Better Late Than Naked' were the guests on Tom Lane's 'Lincolnshire Folk' programme, which runs for the half-hour before 'Celtic Fringe'.

More 'contemporary-singer-songwriter-folk' than C&W to my ears. That'll get 'em into hot water with the purists.

I believe that "listen again" won't be available for Tom's slot after 7.00 pm this evening.
We forgot to mention on the programme that we are doing a spot at Gainsborough FC on 10th October, the night after the "Not the BBC Radio Lincolnshire Write a Lincolnshire Folk Song Competition" at Spilsby Theatre.

BBC Radio Lincolnshire is putting on a concert at Spilsby Theatre on Thursday 9th October in lieu of the usual Folk Song Competition, which they are unable to run due to the BBC ban on competitions, (even with an independent panel of judges, and no public vote...and despite the myriad of such competitions on the box)
I don't have a list of all the artists, but those I remember are Paul Dickinson, John Sykes, Stitherum, Dick Appleton and BLTN. The concert will be recorded as normal and broadcast around Christmas.

Just listened back to my personal copy of the programme. Got the artists a bit wrong...

Paul Dickinson, Dave & Julie Evardson, Stitherum, Winter Wilson, Penny Sykes, Clarty Sough, John Connolly, Dick Appleton & BLTN...and possibly one other. The evening is billed as "A celebration of Lincolnshire Songwriting"

BWM: I'm at Greenbelt at the mo in the company of your fine cousin and her fella. They've a brand new, TARDIS type tent and a blow-up sofa - honest!. I'll show you the photographic evidence when I get back.

But I doubt that I'll get to Spilsby in October as it's a choir night. Shame.
