What's the latest on folk/open mic sessions on a weekend, in Beverley? I can't get there in the week.

Monday - folk club in The Foresters
Tuesday - learners session in The Tiger, Acoustic session in The Sun which is open mic on the first and third Tuesday
Wednesday - Jed's session in The Tiger
Thursday - nothing as far as I know
Friday - evening session in The Tiger
Saturday - afternoon session in The Sun
Sunday - singaround in The Sun from 4pm

There may be others that I don't know about

This Tuesday - 16th Sept, sees the relaunch of open mic nights at the Sun Inn, Beverley. 8.30pm - late, all welcome.

Thanks to all who came to the open mic night last Tuesday at the Sun Inn, Beverley, , it was a great evening! It's acoustic evening there tonight, mostly songs, laid back & informal.

Friday session tonight. All welcome, starts about 9.00. In the Tiger.

John the harp's Saturday afternoon session tomorrow. start 4p.m. Starts about 4-4.30ish. Finishes when the evening band arrive. In the Sun.

The thing we most wanted to see when the Beverley Festival was on was Mick McGoldrick, but unfortunately we didn't get to see him. He's on at Hessle Town Hall, South Lane, Hessle, HU13 0RR!! It's tomorrow (Tuesday 30th September) and there are tickets left so you can pay on the door. It's £12.50, doors open at 7.00, music starts 7.30 and Mick McGoldrick is on at 8.00.

This will be an excellent concert.

Food festival in Beverley today. Morris dancing from about 12.30. Beverley Garland Dancers are at 1pm by the market cross.

There's the Sunday afternoon session in the sun later (usually a singaround).
