Hi ya'll the last time I posted anything about my music page I didn't have anything on it. I added some songs today uh 4 I think. They are just laid back picking songs and work in progress songs at that so I know there are some flubs lol but... Just thought I'd post this if any of ya'll want to check it out.

Thanks DW I am glad you liked it. I recorded it at a friends house just sort of a blow through thing. I recorded 20 songs that night and I have a ton more I am wanting to get down. As soon as my copyright thing is done I am going to be posting my originals. I am also going to be putting up alot of stuff other than just thumbstyle. I appreciate it DW and I'm glad you liked it because I have loved listening to your music. Thank you

Nice! If that's "laid back," I can't wait to hear you when you get serious...

After trying hard, and only after a couple of listens, I finally detected one or two of what you apparently consider to be "flubs," but they don't hardly detract from the performances at all!

"I'll See You In My Dreams," huh? I don't even dream about playing that good. I know a few tricks, in a few keys, that I usually manage to pull off, as long as I keep to a very moderate tempo. I can occasionally manage to impress some of my less knowlegable listeners, but I know my limitations. I'm always glad to hear a real master; it may be humbling, but more importantly, it's really enjoyable.

Thank you all a bunch. I am thrilled ya'll liked it. I am about to put up another here in a few minutes. I think it will either be a goofing around version of Swing 49 but since I was goofing around with it I am gonna call it Swing 24 & 1/2 lol or I might put a laid back improved blues don't know for sure but I will see in a few minutes I guess. Thank you all. I am putting a CD together or trying to right now. This recording was at a friends house in Evansville Indiana (US) in his basement. I didn't have a clue that Terry would be able to pull a cool tone. I had been recording different places and had been getting a very bad tone. Terry called me and made a deal that if I recorded some lead on some of his songs he would trade me some time. I didn't take it too serious because I thought it would sound very rough anyway. He dropped one of the CDs off on his way to Nashville and I was very surprised by the tone. I wish I had been more serious about my picking now. I am going to go back though and seriously approach it and should have a CD before long. John I hope to see you at a festival or workshop as well that is something I am really wanting to get into doing. I am talking to some right now and if it goes through I will let everybody know. My site is still a work in progress lol. Thank you for the VERY nice compliments it really really means alot to me.

LOL Thanks Chas I would love to hear some of your songs. Do you have a page? I have been surprised I have had almost 500 plays in less than 48 hrs. I really wasn't expecting that at all it really cuaght me off guard. If you have a page give me the address. I'd love to check it out.
