As I mentioned in my thread BS: JennyO visiting the UK in September I will be travelling around the UK with Rob Williams (quantock) and we thought the best way to meet a number of folkies in a short space of time would be to arrange a session or two. We will be staying in Dorset, near Sturminster Newton on the 25th and 26th of September and a friend of Rob's is helping us organise a session at The Halsey Arms pub in Pulham, Dorset.

We're thinking of starting around 6pm so we have plenty of time for sessioning but we still have to confirm details. You can get food there right through till 9.30pm. Looks like a nice place.

If you think you can come, could you let me know in a PM. They want some idea of numbers. It would be great if some Mudcatters could make it there - especially if you can't make it to Liz the Squeak's session in London the night after!

Refreshing this again in case somebody hasn't seen it. The details are still as above - starting from around 6pm. They are moving their karaoke night to another night, just for us, and we'll have the bar too.

There is the Jurassic Folk, Seaton, Fore Street -The Grove Nite Club* 01297 20064 8pm. 3rd Wed which is not too far from Dorset.
24th is sadly the 4th Wed.

Refresh. We are going to be staying in Dorset (in Lydlinch) for two days, so if anyone can't make it to the session on the 26th, we'll actually be around that area from some time on the 25th.

Thanks for the message, Kitty. Rob does remember her. Pity we won't be able to meet her. What are our chances of meeting you? Maybe in London at Liz's session on the 27th?
