Can anyone help me with lyrics (and a translation if possible!) for this lullaby? I've heard it sung by Gillian Frame, but can't find a copy anywhere.

Thanks, Sue - I've now moved on to trying to get Mairi Bhan Og under my belt, to sing at my nephew's wedding in November (as well as a wee blast of Bidh Clann Ulaidh!). I have the lyrics to the verses sung by Alyth McCormack on The Captain's Collection, but the English version of the song that I've found on other threads doesn't seem to be a very literal translation. Anybody able to help me make more sense of what I'm singing?
