Very beautiful. But no more so than the other tracks with the orchestra (Rollin, Marie, Feels Like Home).

For me the best of the lot was 'Love Story'....

I was struck by just how many lines written 30 or 40 years ago still resonated today, either because things haven't changed or because they have!

E.g. the line you quoted in 'Love Story', most of 'Political Science', and of course 'Louisiana 1927' came back to bite with hurricane Katrina.

That song louisiana 1927 a great song ..... Randy Newman ..great songwriter...I must say bbc 4 tv put some good music shows on, like Neil Young last week. Derek
