Where would we all be without him? There is only one Malcolm Douglas, in fact - if I may borrow from 'Highlander' - There can be only one!

I am always happy when Malcolm lays out a solid or even definitive (for now) answer to a query, and even happier on those rare occasions when I get there first. I hope for many more years of Malcolm beating me to it most of the time!

Latest 10.45 pm Uk time. Malcolm is currently not sure which hospital he may finish up in - there are two major ones in Sheffield - and he is in the wrong one - if you see what I mean.

So I will update people as soon as I know and thanks everyone for their kind thoughts,

It is my intention to print this thread once I have somewhere to take it!!

Dear Malcolm, I feel I have known you a long time- we've exchanged letters, greetings passed on by others, I've had your helpful posts at Mudcat- but I guess we have never met in person. Anyway, I hold you one of my friends, and hope we shall meet one day (this side of Heaven!- isn't there an oldtime song that begins, If we never meet again this side of Heaven...?) But- this is to let you know that George and I are thinking of you, and wishing you soon return of your strength, goodfeeling, stamina, joy of life. That you'll rally to enjoy the winter holidays- Christmas, New Years Day, the turning of the seasons.    Joy and blessings,    Jean
