Since I view the road of life as a continuum, rather than a series of mileposts, I didn't think I'd necessarily celebrate my 70th, in less than two years. Then again, when I look at all my fellow travelers who never got this far, celebrating survival for that long does make sense...Happy birthday to all of the folks mentioned - never let 'em see you sweat!

the impilcation is that the musicians are alive and turned 70 this year,if someone is dead they cant celebrate their birthday,so why mention, hedy west.
