Awww....

Hey, I still have my 'Seasons' LP. I played and played that, sang along to it happily for a very long time. :0)

Some audio clips

I wish them well...and thanks, guys, for the music.

Sad news. Haven't seen em for some time but remember seeing em first back in the late sixties/early seventies upstairs at MSG in Manchester. Always remember because apart from sounding brill especially Stuart's voice, i think they were the only guys at the time i'd seen use amps at the venue (i think they used 'Orange' amps in them days). Still have 'Seasons' on vinyl and used to have the first LP 'Times of Change' (wonder what i did with it?). Ahh don't those 'Spinning Wheels of Time' fly!

Hi,

Actually, I see less on http://www.magnac.com/. There's only a single concert mentioned there, final concet May 11 2009 at Royal Carre, Amstedam. Tickets are available, but as they don't want anyone without a credtit card, I fear I may be unable to attend this concert. Pitty.

I also remember seeing them at MSG in the late 60's. We had to leave early to catch the last train 12 miles home. Glen "whatsisname" was the lead singer and they did use orange amps. Can't remember who replaced Glen (whatever happened to him?) but the rest of the band was Chris Simpson and Davy Johnstone who later left to join Elton John. I think he was replaced by Tom Hoy. George Norris only came along some years later.

Glenn ended up either owning or running a pet shop. It would be interesting to find out what happened to Lyle Tranter who was in the original line up.

Yes, I had a feeling that there was someone before Davy Johnstone. And it was Glen "Stuart".

I suspect that I misspelt Lyall Tranter's first name so apologies if anyone knows him or of him.
