Subject: Gibson ES-325 info From: theleveller Date: 25 Jan 09 - 11:09 AM I have just inherited a beautiful Gibson E-325 in walnut. I don't know much about electric instruments and although there's plenty of info on the 335, there's not much on the 325. It was bought in 1974 and is in superb condition even though my father-in-law used it almost dailiy as he was a semi-pro musician. I also got a Fender twin reverb valve amp which I think is older than the guitar. I also need to insure it, so can anyone give me an indication of value (in GB£). Thanks a lot. |
Subject: RE: Gibson ES-325 info From: pdq Date: 25 Jan 09 - 11:48 AM Well, this guitar is certainly not as famous as it's cousin the ES-335. Production seems to start in 1972 with a walnut top. This guitar is considered versitile by Rock and Country players. Estimated value: minimum of 1000 pound Sterling, maximum of 2000. |
