Can you tell us anything more about the song, gblack??? What type of music is it, and who did you hear perform it? Do you know any partial lyrics of the song? It's hard to find songs if all you know is the title.

Why would I doubt you? I see the old thread. Meanwhile, here's my twopence worth:
There's a reference to it in Sam Henry's "Songs of the People" ((Huntington/Hermann) ... but only to say that his (unpublished)version of it is from "Songs of the Hebrides" (1909).This reference is ascribed to the bould John Moulden. If he doesn't pick up this thread I'll drop him a line to ask for details.

Kishmul's Galley is on several Corries recordings and on a Video Tape of theirs that I own. Search "Gavin Browne" in the web and you'll find the Corries web site and a resource for these recordings. Kishmuls Galley is als the title of a CD or Tape by the Corries.

I have a recording of this song of the mac neill by Anne Moray ca 1960, but is in the old style and i cant transcribe the gaelic lyrics. Please post em if ya got em. My mother sang this to me as a lullabye.

You might find something on Youtube if you search for Ray and Archie Fisher, who featured this song in their joint repertoire back in the 1970s and recorded it on the Topic label.
