Our guest on Saturday 21st Feb is Brigitte Kloareg from Brittany. Brigitte sings traditinal songs in 5 languages (not all at the same time of course)

A great evening is anticipated. Strand Hotel, bray Co. Wicklow at 9.30pm.

For those not fortunate enough to have been to Bray, I can say that it is a regular hotbed of trad activity, with trad sessions in one pub or another every night of the week. The Strand is a fine venue, as well. About 10 miles south of Dublin. I greatly look forward to my next visit.

Thanks for those nice comments. Just to advise future upcoming events. Our standard night in March is Saturday 21st. But we an extra (special) night arranged for Tuesday 24th March when Bob Conroy from Staten Island will be our geust. He also has some friends visiting with him as backling support (Hughie Jones (ex spinners) and Tony Canniffe (Canniffe family).

Bob is a very fine singer and plays 5 string banjo and guitar magnificently as well.

He is doing a short (too short) tour playing in Derry, Ballyliffen in Inshowen, Bray and at the Clé club in Dublin.

looking forward to Bob's Derry visit' we (Derry singing circle)have also arranged an extra special night for him on thursday 19th march to be held in Tinneys Bar Patrick St. Derry.
