Someone made the request for the chords to Louis Jordan's "Sure Had A Wonderful Time Last Night" in the Ukulele Cosmos Forum. BB King has also done the song and people get confused about whose it is. Any way I've been wanting to play the song for some time too. Does anyone know the chords. I'm sure they are probably very simple to figure out, but not on my gutbucket :-)

The song is on "Louis Jordan Dnd His Tympany Five (1946-1947)". It was re-released (?) in 2000, so finding it shouldn't be terribly difficult. (Famous last words . . . .)

There is one set on Ukulele Cosmos, but they don't sound right to me.

Koko Taylor and BB King have recorded blues versions of the song too.

I used to play this with Ruth Brown she did it in Bb, Louis Jordan did it in Eb
I wrote it out in C all the best!!!
