Watched a repeat of the Irish Tenors PBS special last weekend.

John McDermott sang a song with lyrics something to the effect of "I was the captain, you my first mate. As we started our voyage we were just two..."

I think the title might be "Voyage" but I can't seem to find the lyrics on Mudcat.

Can anyone help? Thanks.

Yes, it's titles the Voyage, and you can find the lyrics on the Christy Moore webpage

There was another very pretty, poignant song on that show. I haven't searched for the lyrics; however, the chorus was something like "Oh Grace, just hold me in your arms and let this moment linger, there won't be time to share our love for we must say goodbye..." Can we find the lyrics to this one too? Penny

It's called "Grace"...and may have been posted here in another thread...but I know that "The Prof" has the lyrics handy. You can request them at his website: http://www.prof.co.uk/irish1.htm

Also if I have a chance after dinner, I will try to post them from the cd lyrics sheet.
