Tech: Error notice

I keep getting a little box on my screen that says

Windows Internet Explorer

!   Error type is error

    error evt is [object]

                         OK

How can I tell them it is OK when I haven't a clue what it means?

Is it something sinister?

"Ok" just means, "yeah...I heard you"

(The 'error' is using Internet Explorer... *grin*)

It is not likely to be sinister...

Do you notice it happening at specific points, or on certain sites?

clear you browser cache
tools, delete offline files

I'm reassured by Bill D's "It is not likely to be sinister ...".
At the moment it is popping up when I try to read my emails, but not every time. (It has never appeared on Mudcat.)
Norton virus scan hasn't found anything untoward.
I was getting it a couple of weeks ago but then it stopped for a while.
I'll have a bit of a clearout of stuff I'm not using.
