I'm getting a bit fed up of going to the chatroom and having no-one to chat with. Do you think we could agree a time every day when people will try to log on. Of course the time difference will make this tricky, I'm 5 hours ahead of the americans, and 12 ahead(or behind) the Australians. And please remember my 'phone bill, it's more expensive 9-5. What does everyone think? Hwyl, Bron. PS, I suppose it's because I feel left out of all these wonderful gatherings and singarounds that you folks half a world away are having. I want to play, too!!!!

heck, we in the US even have trouble talking to each other! *grin*...I am ready to go to bed at midnight, and those on the West coast are just getting warmed up..

lessee..5PM for me (Wash DC)=
........2PM in California/Oregon/Washington
........9PM in London
........8AM in Sydney
........10PM in Germany..(I think)

so...IF you can figure out who you want to talk to, a general schedule could be worked out..ac

actually, 8-12PM London time might get some earlt East coast Americans and some Aussies in the mid to late morning..it isn't easy!

I suggested before we just go in on the hour and hang around for a few minutes.. hopefully it increasses the chances of bumping into someone.

Having said that it's not working today.

Another option is to see if some folks can pick a topic and a time.

I've hung around a few times while reading the threads and find that someone else shows up about 20% of the time.

I have pretty good success during Rick Fielding's Monday night broadcasts.

it is in IRC---if you have an IRC program, set www.mudcat.org as the server, then enter room #mudcat or, if your machine deals with it there is clickable link that makes javascript get you there somehow...it doesn't work for some of us, and I don't have the 'exact' address

And we do appear to be experiencing some technical difficulties... but for when it does get going again...

For the moment, it appears to be down, but the Powers that Be are always wonderful about keeping it going...

I've got the same problem.
I've tried to get in for several days now.
Nothing happens when I press``ENTER´´.
Do feel awfully left out!
Time her in Oslo is 6hrs ahead of MCT(MudCat Time).

I just tried the java client and I can't get in that way either. The seldom have problems with my IRC client. I suggest folks download one.
