Subject: RE: Berea (KY) Int'l Fest - May 8th/10th '09 From: Jayto Date: 16 Apr 09 - 12:07 PM Maybe I can make it this year lol. I tried last year but I was booked solid the whole weekend. Hope it warms up by then since it has decided to be winter in ole Ky instead of spring lol (I'm in west Ky) cya JT |

It would be great to hear you 'live'. Outside of doing a fundraiser this past March for these folks, I am not involved in organizing this festival. If you get up to Berea, please make yourself known to me and I'll introduce you to the organizer - Sune (pronounced SOON-ah) Frederiksen. He's putting on Berea acoustic music events all the time. (Sune was once involved with Denmark's Tønder Festival.) I am very much looking forward to the weekend and hearing the variety of musicians who are slated to assemble. (Beverly and I feel fortunate that we will be joined in our music by erstwhile 'House Band' stalwart and now Woodford County resident - John Skelton.) Hope to meet you there. Cheers, Danny |

Subject: RE: Berea (KY) Int'l Fest - May 8th/10th '09 From: Jayto Date: 03 May 09 - 11:01 PM I wish I could but once again I am booked up through the whole festival time. One of these yrs I am going to make it though. I really want to bad it just always gets so busy for me this time of year. I am glad you like the music I have up on myspace. Ron Bankley and I are getting ready to put out a new CD together. I will let you know when we have it done. Have you heard the Dirt Daubers from Paducah? I have been playing with them here lately as well. You should check them out they starting to hit the festival circuit hard. Bawn in the Mash is another band from Paducah I have been playing with some you should check them out as well. I am not a member of either band we are friends and play together when we can. They are both on my myspace top friends. Well hopefully next yr I can make it over to it. I hope it goes good. cya JT |
