Had to miss this this year to come to a song festival in Poland. How was it this year?

I had heard from an attendee that numbers were down quite a lot this year, particularly on the song course. Mind you, this is, of course, purely third hand.

Numbers were down from 68 to 48 with traditional song down to approx 15 from I think 29 last year.

The reality was that many of us found it much better than '08 in many areas.

In the song workshops there were many magic wands being waved.!!

Overall a delightful weekend with lovers of song and music.

Even the six hour drive back didn't dampen my enthusiasm.

Interesting - 15 was the number , or thereabouts, that we had on to traditional song course in the first year in 2001, and to my mind that was the most enjoyable and rewarding year of the three that I attended. Glad to hear that it's still going from strength to strength.

So glad to hear it went so well, I did have the feeling there were lower numbers this year. I'm sure lower numbers in the song workshops would make for a better experience!

How was the food this year?
