Sorry Leila, just make sure that Dave Oaklet behaves himself (that'll be a first!). Catch up with you all somewhere else, I'm sure. Deirdre (feeling a bit :-( but a girl's gotta do...etc). |

Subject: RE: Moonbeams Wold Top Folk Festival From: theleveller Date: 12 Jul 09 - 09:22 AM Well, just got back. To say it was good would be a considerable understatement. It was FABULOUS. The setting was, without doubt, the most beautiful of any festival we've been to and loads of space for camping. Leila, don't know how you did it, but the weather, instead of the planned rain, was glorious. As for the festival iteself - well, a totally fabulous range of great artists, the whole organisation was faultless, the beer was exquisite (and, of course, I drank far too much). What was especially wonderful for us (Whipstaff) is that we could perform our songs in the singarounds right in the heart of the countryside they were written about. Oh, and we met such amazing people who we know will become firm friends.Hope to see some of you at Hardraw. Leila, huge thanks to you and all those who helped to organise such an amazing event. Let's hope it becomes and annual one because we want to book for next year right now (only could you make it a bit longer)! All the best Pete, Jools and Holly. |

I'm a bit lost for words at the mo.. big smile on my face though!!! leila... (on the net, in Drew's Camper, still on the campsite!) |
