Subject: RE: Money, Marbles and Chalk From: Joe Offer Date: 08 Jul 99 - 12:55 PM Hi, Sherrie - I found only one verse of this song in a Hal Leonard fakebook. Don't know if there's more. -Joe Offer (sent by e-mail)- THE ANNIVERSARY WALTZTell me I may always dance the Anniversary Waltz with you. Tell me this is real romance, an anniversary dream come true Let this be the anthem to our future years, To millions of smiles and a few little tears. May I always listen to the Anniversary Waltz with you. |
Subject: RE: Money, Marbles and Chalk From: Barbara Date: 08 Jul 99 - 01:48 PM Merritt Herring has "Money, Marbles and Chalk" on his new, just released CD called Precious Memories, and you can order it from him at 2037 49th Ave, Portland OR 97213. His email is MerrHerr@aol.com
He says on the CD that he hasn't included the words because of copyright restrictions, and it's by James Lane. When I've got a bit of time, I'll transcribe them for you, but if you get impatient you can always order Merritt's CD, it's definitely a keeper! |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Money, Marbles and Chalk (etc) From: wilco Date: 23 Apr 06 - 07:12 PM The Anniversary Waltz might be the same thing as the Golden Anniversary Waltz. We play the same tune here in Tennessee, and it goes by two other names (which I can't recall). |
