Bob Franke is giving (if we can get a couple more people to sign up) a songwriting workshop in Takoma Park, MD this weekend. Janie Meneely is organizing it. It will be Sat and Sun 1-4. Some basic stuff on Saturday, assignment for overnight, review assignments on Sunday.

This will be worth doing. I did a short workshop on songwriting with Bob at Old Songs a few years ago. He's an honest critic, but wonderfully encouraging.

If any 'catters have the opportunity of taking Bob's workshop, run, don't walk, to sign up. He's an amazingly good teacher.

Takoma Park, Maryland is a Washington, D.C. suburb reachable by METRO.
