All, please visit our newly reconstituted website:

www.theshivershow.com

You'll find that the earlier webpages with sights and sounds of Honeyville VA are still there.

But there are new pages for the new CD, Across the Blue Ridge and more. You'll see Susette's photos of the Blue Ridge Mountains from our new home on Hanlon Mountain in NC (though we're not there full time yet) and pictures of my family in Honeyville from the 1930's in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

There's more to come, sound clips of the new CD and things, and more photos, and maybe an ongoing journal of our travels so check back as time goes on. CD Baby is still under construction, so if you want a CD for your Aunt Polly, please order it through the Website.

I hope you enjoy it. Let me know!
regards, Chance

Thanks, Peace and Leadfingers!

We couldn't use "The Shivers" because of the other band! Therefore, The Shiver Show.

Micca, I'm so sorry, I meant to mail yours today and I forgot to go to the Post Office. I'll get it off to you as soon as possible.

I think my good friends at Grand Junction Design have relatives in Grand Junction, hence the name.

Cheers!
Chance

I like's it, Chance!   It's a very nice write-up, and I really like the "Blue Ridge" page. Are those folks your kin?

Yes, Miss Janie,

The folks in the pickup truck are in front my grandfather, my grandmother (standing)and my great uncle Clarence. In the back are my mother and one of her sisters. There's also more pictures of my mother and another sister on Honeville Road, and one of my mother sitting on the back bumper of a car.

I spent a great deal of my childhood with those folks up in Honeyville, near Luray, Va, by the Shenandoah River. My grandfather played the guitar (I have it now, a 1931 Supertone, and uncle Clarence played the banjo.

That's where I heard my first songs and tunes.

regards,
chance

Hey Nick! Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed them. We're down on the Hanlon Mt. now. It's raining and foggy on the Blue Ridge.
