From: Maryrrf Date: 06 Aug 09 - 04:04 PM For the people who check this thread, I seem to remember reading about a site that had slowed down traditional fiddle tunes for people who wanted to practice. Does anybody remember what that site was? I can't find it now. |

Subject: RE: Irish Traditional Musicians - New Site! From: terrier Date: 07 Aug 09 - 08:06 PM That r2 site is a great idea but as yet it seems to have lots of bugs in it. The sound editing on some of the tunes seems very iffy and I've tried to print some of the music out using Vista and it doesn't work. Anyone else having trouble with it? Also, there's no way to slow the music down and I recon beginners wouldn't stand a chance at keeping up with it. I think it's main strengh is in seeing the music written down and immediately being able to hear how it should sound. |

Subject: RE: Irish Traditional Musicians - New Site! From: Gulliver Date: 11 Aug 09 - 04:56 PM Keeping up with Mudcat, TheSession, YouTube, MySpace, and a number of other sites means I have very little time left to actually play music! Don |
