I am saddedned to pass along the news that Doug Cloud of Orlando, FL has passed away (Aug. 12) from complications related to his fight with cancer. Doug and his brother Charlie formed the County Line Bluegrass Band back in 1982 and performed at many bluegrass festivals in Florida and the Southeast.

Doug authored several tunes, including "It's Hot Down Here" recently recorded by James King and his band. Doug recorded several records and CDs, the most recent being "Fox on the Run" completed in the Fall of 2008, with County Line band members Elise LeCompte, Randall Screws, Trey Merrick, and Bill Britton.

He will be sorely missed.

The last link you posted is to Doug's band. He was my Dad's uncle.
