For those who may be interested and within striking distance of Kiveton Park Folk Club. tomorrow night (Tuesday 15th) we feature the brilliant Jeff Warner. Jeff is one of the foremost authorities and performers of traditional American music and song. He sings songs of the fishing and lumber industries as well as many other themes,plays his instruments with style and sensitivity and is ably partnered by a very skilled jig-doll. Free grub for all, and tea and coffee for the non-imbibers. A cheap bar and a friendly crowd await all who venture forth. A fiver for non-members. Kick off at 8.30. All welcome.

And he's doing an all-day workshop on song accompaniment for any instrument and an evening performance at the Lewes Saturday Folk Club on 19th. September.

If you've read the above and couldn't get to Kiverton Park (which you should go to if you're local - lovely club), then you can catch Jeff at the Old Oak Concerts, down the road (M1) from Sheffield in Horsley Woodhouse - 176 Main Street, DE7 6AW. - 8 p.m. start.
