Looking for any serious alternative verses to "Danny Boy." The second half of it seems too dreary for a celebration of life. The decedent was a career educator and a friend gone far too young from cancer.

There's a hymn by W Y Fullerton to the tune: "I cannot tell why he, whom angels worship" (Rejoice & Sing 265). If you're interested, I'll type it up.
