The Borderline Folk Music Club of Rockland County, NY is proud to present singer/songwriter ARLON BENNETT in concert on Sunday, January 10th at 2 PM. The venue is the New City Volunteer Ambulance Corps building, located at 200 - Congers Road, New City, NY 10956. Admission is $20 per person ($15 for Borderline members) plus we ask that you bring a cold pot luck dessert dish to share with 4 other people.

Arlon Bennett is an emerging star in the world of folk music. Formerly from Long Island, he now makes his home in the Rockland County hamlet of Tappan, NY. His song "Be The Change" which was written 6 years ago about Rosa Parks & Ghandi, was adopted by the Obama campaign as its unofficial theme song. His other famous song is "A Summer's Voice", a tribute to the late New York Mets radio announcer, Bob Murphy. He was honored last year by being asked to perform this song at Shea Stadium on a day that Murphy's tenure with the Mets was commemorated. You will be hearing a lot about Arlon in the coming year. In my opinion he is one of those performers that is bound for greatness.

The weatherman has officially promised us NO SNOW for Sunday.
There are still seats remaining if you want to hear Arlon Bennett in concert. Anyone coming up from NYC by public transportation is reminded that the Coach USA Red & Tan Lines bus from Port Authority to New City stops right at our front door. For those driving there is plenty of on site free parking.
