Subject: Raymond & MaryLee Frog From: GUEST,Janine Kiergarten of SL Date: 19 Nov 09 - 04:27 PM Has anyone visited Second Life? Don't forget to go along to the Dakota Playhouse and hear the monthly concert of Raymond and Mary Frog of Backintyme Performances who perform folksongs, Civil War songs, material by Stephen Foster, The Carter Family etc. Sung to banjo accompaniment. Entrance quite free! They really are very good indeed. Jan of SL And no Bob Dylan |
Subject: RE: Raymond & MaryLee Frog From: Joe Offer Date: 19 Nov 09 - 04:46 PM Hmmm. I wonder if this link (click) to Backintyme Performances will work. It works for me, but then I'm logged in at Second Life. I haven't been to Second Life in a long time because I got frustrated and bored finding my way around, but maybe it's worth checking this out. -Joe- |

It's worth checking out SL again as it improves all the time but these are these are the only really good music performers I've found so far. Jan of SL |
Subject: RE: Raymond & MaryLee Frog (Second Life folkies) From: Joe Offer Date: 20 Nov 09 - 07:34 PM Well, I moved my Second Life membership to my new computer, and tried to get to the Dakota Playhouse for the music, but got lost along the way. It was interesting for a while, but then I got bored. Can anybody give me some instructions on how to get to places that would interest a 61-yr-old folkie political activist, and avoid all the boring "meet market" stuff? I'm happily married and not interested in meeting chicks. -Joe- |
