Thanks Alison, just signed the petition. Maybe a threat of a boycot would wake up some agencies. As the petition states, most lyric site promote sales and artists.

Go to the site alison marked and you can see whats happening. The Song Cops are at it again. They have a very possesive attitute about folks sharing music that has ownership by publishers. Some of these ownerships include songs that are Public Domain but have copywritten arrangements. They shut down and threaten all music web sites and have even went as far as trying to collect money from establishments who play radios for mood music. They have obviously gone over the line in trying to claim those of us who use the internet for resourcing songs are a bunch of low life thieves.(my words)They think we are robbing the artist of their fruits of labor. I think the fact we share songs ,chat about artists has promotional value and they should be delighted for our services.
