"Hear Mosquito Buzzing" from James Mursell's "Music Now and Long Ago" grade 3, p. 90.

I learned this song when I started school 50 years ago and have since forgotten all but the first two lines:
"Hear mosquito buzzing
His song is coming near...."

I am tasked with singing a song from my childhood at an upcoming cultural event and would love to sing this. Had 3 verses as I recall and was suitable for someone with limited vocal range.

Does anybody know where I could find the lyrics? Thanks.

Hear Mosquito Buzzing
Ojibway Song

1
Hear mosquito buzzing,
His song is coming near;
Oh, he is fond of gossiping,
The latest news I'll hear.
2
Skeeter heard me joking,
Saw me acting queer;
Oh, then he went and buzzed a tale
Into my sweet-heart's ear.
3
Skeeter made his story strong,
Buzzed it loud and clear;
So when I went to call on her,
She boxed me on the ear.

Now and Long Ago, Music for Living, Book 3, Silver Burdett Company, 1956, p. 90 with musical score.

Wonderful. Thank you so very much! Reminds me of grade two when I learned it. Reminds me of scouting expeditions when the skeeters buzzed me in my sleeping bag.
